Classic Blue Correcting Selectric II - SOLD

Here's a Classic Blue Correcting Selectric II that I just refurbished. It was manufactured in 1973, the first year Correction was available. Due to it's early production, it has many parts that are stainless steel and high quality metal parts that were changed in later models to reduce cost. For example, it features the all-steel carrier transport that uses two steel cables to move the carrier, instead of a nylon tab cord that later models used. This is a true quality machine.

It has been completely refurbished with a chemical wash to remove old grease, dirt and oil, high mortality parts replacement, synthetic lubrication to extend service life, new noise reducing foam and a complete repaint in the original color. Lots of time went into the cosmetics too to make it look as new as possible. It's a beautiful machine.
